MOTHER GODDESS

MOTHER GODDESS

Paying tribute to the sacred feminine through haptic and sonic experience - an initiation to reconnect with the inner feminine force residing within all of us, regardless of gender.

Mother Goddess is a coiled and embroidered percussion vessel made from scraps of a salvaged cardigan, yarns sourced from a charity sale, and additional materials including sonic elements such as chimes and jingle bells.

Created through an intuitive, process-led approach, the piece evokes a natural landscape, imbuing the form with a sense of freedom and wildness. Her soft, rounded curves recall prehistoric goddess figurines, drawing inspiration from their symbolic connection to fertility, nature, and the sacred feminine.

Honouring both Mother Nature and the inner feminine force, Mother Goddess serves as a ritual object created to reconnect the user with their feminine self through haptic and sonic interaction.
